Brackenhurst
is located near Southwell, a market town around twelve miles from Nottingham which offers
an idyllic rural setting. It is based on a 200 hectare farming estate and facilities
include specialist units for agriculture, animal care, countryside management, equine,
floristry, food technology and horticulture.

Technology Suite
The Information Technology Suites offer a range of excellent facilities including a
computing network of Pentium powered work stations, laser printing, multimedia, CD-ROM
service as well as access to the Internet and World Wide Web. Facilities are available
throughout the day for all students, subject to the needs of formal teaching sessions.
Library and Learning Resource Centre
Learning resources include a modern library with direct links to Nottingham Trents
City and Clifton Campuses and an extensive collection of course texts, trade journals and
multimedia facilities. In addition to a variety of private study areas, the library also
houses a comprehensive careers section. A number of networked computer work stations are
also available within this area.
