Safe Solutions was born out of the love for animals by its founder over fifteen years ago. It became apparent to him that disinfectants were very effective at killing harmful bacteria, fungi and viruses, however they were also harmful to the animals being protected.

In the interests of an effective bio security regime it was necessary to regularly expose animals and carers to potentially harmful chemicals. Safe4 Disinfectant was created to combat this situation as an effective alternative but to be kind to those in care also the environment and the carer.

Safe4 Disinfectant does not contain harmful phenols, aldehydes or alcohol. It is non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-staining, non-tainting and a non-irritant at all working dilutions with a neutral pH of approximately 7.6. There is no need to wash away with water after application and can be immediately brought into direct contact with humans and animals whilst still wet. This saves valuable time which can be better spent caring.

Another benefit to Safe4 Disinfectant is that it kind to the environment, being water based and biodegradable, which is obviously very important as many animal care centres are equipped with septic tanks and soak aways.

Safe4 Disinfectant has passed the DEFRA efficacy test for General Orders as defined in the diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectant) Order 1978, also DEFRA Diseases of Poultry Order and the Avian Influenza and Influenza of Avian Origin in Mammals Order and DEFRA Tuberculosis Order.
