How to Search

For demonstration purposes we have included a number of example pages - these include, amongst others, the European otter, Red Deer, Mute swan, Northern pintail, FMD virus, Escherichia coli, Vitamins A & E, Selenium, Malathion. We suggest you test out this search by using terms likely to be found on these pages. (There are over 17,000 documents in the main system, and only about 100 used in the demonstration PREVIEW version)

If you are searching for a particular species or disease we recommend that you use a single word in lower-case  for  your search. 

Some searches may identify MANY pages and you may view the nearest applicable page, use the EDIT>FIND facility in your browser to identify that word on the page, and you would then follow the hyperlinks to find the information you require.
